Design-build methods are one of the options in carrying out the construction of high-rise buildings with a high level of uncertainty from design phase to construction, which also affects the safety performance of the project itself. Therefore, a prevention standard for a high-risk event is needed based on project activities. This research was prepared using a descriptive qualitative method with expert validation process through Delphi method and completed with a questionnaire survey to conduct a risk assessment. The output in this research is a development of risk-based standard work breakdown structure for architectural work, which generated from 39 high level risk. Based on the results of the mapping of preventive and corrective actions at high-level risks, 5 types of WBS development can be carried out at levels 3 to 6 of the WBS to prevent and minimize the impact of risk so that safety performance could be improved. The novelty in this research lies in the form of design-build project delivery activities which has not been widely discussed in previous work breakdown structure research and risk identification based on the activities listed on the WBS.

This research was conducted in a company that operates in the printing or graphics sector. The concept of quality control is the most critical part because newspapers or printed media are products with the fastest production process. PT carries out the quality control process. PT XYZ to lower the failed results on the paper. Quality control measurements use the P chart method. Results of quality control measurements at PT. XYZ is outside the control limits, and that is not normal, so corrective action is needed, especially the number of failed newspapers. On average, newspapers failed from January to May, reaching 8.24% of the total newspapers produced. Events that cause failure in newspapers are analyzed through risk management. Risk management measurements use the Risk Breakdown Structure (RBS) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) methods. Risk management results show that five risks cause newspaper failure, namely scattered ink, slanted fonts, blurred images, dirty images, and thick fonts.

The military airbase plays a crucial role in national defense, particularly in air defense. One of the most critical facilities at a military airbase for supporting air operations is the runway that serves as the area where fighter aircraft take off and land; hence. If such an event occurs, the Air Force’s capability, specifically the ability of fighter aircraft to take off and land, would be compromised, disrupting air operations. Therefore, the rapid damage runway repair (RADARR) method, aligned with the rigid pavement construction approach, is essential. The foundation of the construction implementation involves creating a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) as a reference for RADARR operation planning. This study aims to develop a WBS as the basis for RADARR operation time planning. The research method employed is a mixed-method approach with descriptive analysis. The variables under investigation include work packages, construction methods, work activities, and the duration of operations. This study comprises expert judgment, pilot surveys, respondent surveys, and focus group discussion (FGD) followed by the development of RADARR WBS, measure the operational time of RADARR through respondent surveys. These findings serve as a valuable reference for executing RADARR construction work within the military context.
