“…In the highly metastatic KM12L4 cell line, Dia and de Mejia demonstrated that lunasin is able to internalize into the cell and sit within the nucleus, to modify the expression of human extracellular matrix and cell adhesion genes by binding to α 5 β 1 integrin, and also to inhibit the FAK/ERK/NF-κB signaling pathway [16,18].
