The current research attempted to integrate Ibn Sina's universal language theory and neuroscience in the development of learning media. It adopted a qualitative library method, with data collected from literature related to universal language theory, neuroscience, and the development of learning materials of Ibn Sina through manual and digital searches for relevant references. The data collected was analyzed by using content analysis which encompassed the data reduction, presentation, and the synthesis of new and comprehensive conceptual frameworks. The results showed that Ibn Sina’s universal language theory offered valuable insights into the significance of language in communication and cognition. Neuroscience provided an understanding of how the human brain processes information and learns. The concepts associated with Ibn Sina's universal language theory and neuroscience, including elements, such as signs, meaning, and relationship between language and reality, were explored to examine their influence on learning media development. The understanding of the principles of human brain-based learning, based on the results of neuroscience, served as a foundation for effective learning media development. By integrating these attributes, the development of learning materials incorporated the conveyance of information in harmony with universal language comprehension and brain-based learning principles. Therefore, learning material developers and teachers should create instructional methods in accordance with advancements in science and technology.

SD Negeri 1 Jambesari is one of the elementary schools which has 119 students ranging from grade 1 to grade 6. Based on interviews, observations, and dialogue with teachers at SDN Jambesari 1, several problems were found related to students' lack of information on careers or professions. This activity aims to empower the community through a career introduction program that is carried out at SD Negeri 1 Jambesari. The methods used by the team are preparation, program planning, and program implementation. The implementation of career introduction is carried out through an informative and demonstrative profession by the project team, so that it becomes the result of this program. As a result, students are better able to explain a number of professions that they did not know before. Also, students have real-life experience through observing and demonstrating the tools of each profession. This community service has succeeded in increasing the cognitive aspects of students in recognizing various kinds of careers or professions, so that they can visualize their dream job in the future.

Upaya yang dapat memotivasai siswa dalam pembelajaran adalah penggunaan media video. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA menggunakan media video. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Kayuapak 02 Kota Sukoharjo dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 21 orang. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri dari satu siklus dengan empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan aktivitas siswa ketika guru memberikan penghargaan kepada mereka. Hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media video meningkat yaitu pada prasiklus nilai rata-rata siswa 53,33 dan meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 84,76. Siswa yang belum mencapai nilai standar KKM diberikan perhatian yang lebih berupa pendekatan dan bimbingan yang lebih dari pada temannya yang lain, hal ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui letak kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh guru. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA dengan menggunakan media video pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa.
