The article is devoted to the issue of the negative effect of delays in the movement of special rescue vehicles on the effectiveness of their mission. The dependence of the area of fire on the delay of the arrival of firefighters using a fire-rescue vehicle is shown. The cascading graph of route options of special vehicle movement to the place of an emergency call is given. The algorithm of the optimal route choice of the special vehicle motion with given projected delays is offered. Based on the graph theory, probability theory, and the basic principles of traffic organization, the article proposes a new way to determine the optimal route.

Purpose. To determine energy consumption by rescuers depending on the type and conditions of rescue and emergency response operations.Methods. Analytical and experimental methods have been implemented both for the study of rescuers' energy indicators during rescue and emergency response operations in extreme microclimate conditions and for determining the difficulty of their work.Findings. The relationships have been obtained for determining energy consumption of rescuers depending on the carried load weight, the height of area to cross, the angle of the slope and the direction of motion, oxygen consumption from breathing apparatus when going up and down the stairs, as well as dependence of the speed of movement on the first three parameters; the difficulty of the work performed has also been determined. Originality.The results of the research allowed to specify the indicators of rescuers' energy consumption in definite conditions. Practical implications. The obtained research results will be used for planning different routes on training grounds, carrying out rescue and emergency response operations including firefighting, doing further research into heat and mass exchange in the heat protective suit with open cycle water cooling for improving the efficiency and safety of rescuers' work. Проаналізовано світовий досвід у царині забезпечення пожежної безпеки промислових будівель та складів, що головно базується на огляді публікацій за останні 5 років, зокрема і тих, що індексуються в наукометричній базі Scopus. Актуальним завданням у царині пожежної безпеки є розвиток уявлення про можливі перспективні напрями розвитку систем протипожежного захисту промислових будівель та складів, що має базуватися на ґрунтовному аналізі світового досвіду у цій площині. Проаналізовано вплив чинників пожежної безпеки підприємств нафтохімічної промисловості, підземного зберігання дизельного палива, складів текстильної промисловості та складів тютюну з точки зору аспектів свідомості та обізнаності персоналу в царині пожежної безпеки, протипожежних об'єктів (об'єктових пожежно-рятувальних частин, добровільних пожежних команд тощо), управління пожежною безпекою та технічного забезпечення, а також наведено причинно-наслідковий аналіз цієї системи. Встановлено, що забезпечення пожежної безпеки підприємств ґрунтується на ефективному функціонуванні систем протипожежного захисту, а також принципах раннього виявлення пожеж шляхом застосування сучасних систем пожежної сигналізації. З'ясовано, що перспективи розвитку в окресленій проблематиці мають базуватися на застосуванні сучасних технологій, досконалості нормативно-технічної бази, а також застосуванні новітніх підходів до організації системи протипожежного захисту промислових будівель та складів.
