The home monitoring system is an effective way to prevent many household accidents that may occur whether we are aware or not. There are a lot of home control devices which were developed in the past. Take fire hazards for example, there are a lot of ways for a house fire to occur like overheating appliances. Fire imposes a big hazard in our homes but there is a device that was built to lessen the probability of this from occurring or at least lessen the damage done. The fire alarm works whenever there is enough smoke that goes in the detector. It will automatically make a sound to alarm the people inside the house, some home systems have a built-in sprinkler that work when the fire alarm activates preventing further property destruction. There are a lot of ways of designing a home control system but at these times, the design must be adaptable and adaptive to most people. Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) is a means of wireless communication between people. It can also be used to communicate with devices such that it functions even if a user is not physically present in the vicinity of the device. GSM is the most adaptable medium since it has a further range of communication compared to Bluetooth and infrared. Moreover, it is also more accessible than Wi-Fi since it is more widely available. A home monitoring system interfaced with GSM poses a great advantage and convenience to the public. The user can be updated regarding the status (ON or OFF) of his appliances which can prevent future damage. It will also be able to alarm the user of any irregular activities of the appliances immediately even if the user is at another place.

In free space propagation, the propagation path between a transmitter and a receiver is direct to one another. Having no obstructions present in free space, there are minimal to no attenuation in signals. Still, there exists a free-space path loss. This is defined as the loss of the radio wave signal or its signal while it travels in free space. Determining the path loss is crucial for designing communication systems so that it can work at its best despite the issues that can be encountered. Additionally, path loss has been used in radio communications and wireless survey tools in order to identify the signal strength of antennas. With the increase in importance for wireless devices such as survey tools and software, it has become helpful to understand the concept of radio path loss as a whole. This paper focuses on simulating the free space propagation path loss to have a clear understanding of its function and the factors that affect it. The software used for this is MATLAB so that graphs can be obtained to have a direct and simple visual of the path loss.

Nowadays, there are many ways to get the Internet connection such as ADSL, Mobile, Wifi, WiMax, Fttx. Furthermore, the Internet connection can get anywhere and any times. In fact, the PBX systems would be low interested because the PBX (Private Branch Exchange) is used circuit switching system and is also used to expend the phone bills [1]. The VoIP system uses the packet switching which it can use everywhere in the place of getting an Internet connection. Moreover, the Phone bill costs are lowest and flexible to use in the new era. In this paper, the VoIP technology is used bandwidth control and line aggregation to get the network speed in the network infrastructure. Moreover, the traffic and bandwidth of each port and whole systems can monitor and manage. In this paper, the OSPF, Ether channel and bandwidth monitoring system are used in real time simulations. All of systems are used the Cisco devices, Linux and windows OS and line aggregations. Line aggregation means line compositions. One switch port can use 100 Mbps/ 1Gbps. On the other hand, if the port is 1Gbps, the four ports are used that it may be 4Gbps. Moreover, not only line combination, but also link redundancy. In this paper, the Gns3 simulation is mainly emulated in the virtual environment with VMware. GNS3 (Graphical Network simulator) allows simulation of complex network structure and the outside world. It can interoperate and communication together with VMWare workstation, Virtual Machine and Esxi to imitate various OS in a virtual community such as Linux, Windows OS and Cisco IOS. GNS3takes this a step further by providing a graphical environment.
