Development and Justification of a Hydro-Impulse Method for Increasing Ore Permeability in Conditions of Uranium Borehole Production

Abstract: The technology of downhole uranium production used at mining enterprises in Kazakhstan is described, the factors affecting the decrease in the filtration characteristics of productive formations are studied in detail, and an effective method is described for increasing the downhole uranium production. The applied methods of intensification of downhole production at uranium mining enterprises are considered, the positive and negative aspects of the electroplasma and chemical methods are discussed. Calculations … Show more

“…Real changes in the supply chains of chemical reagents and spare parts for technological equipment increase the importance of improving the filtration characteristics of ores in various mining-geological conditions. The use of traditional methods for restoring the productivity of technological boreholes in difficult conditions of ores with a high content of carbonate and clay minerals does not give a positive result [17]. Studying the structure of ores and composition of sediment-forming components leads to developing rational parameters for restoring the filtration characteristics of ores in various productive horizons [18].…”

“…The impact of the mining depth on the stress-strain state of the mass and the parameters of main structural elements of mining blocks are studied in many scientific works, in particular, in researchers from Ukraine [14]- [17] and foreign researchers [18]- [22]. Special attentions are given to providing readiness for mining [23]- [25].…”
