The spread of coronavirus infection brings changes to all spheres of activity, including education, which is increasingly moving to a distance learning format. The ultimate goal of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of the recommendations for developing a rigid class scheduling method in the framework of online learning using advanced approaches updating traditional learning mechanisms. Overall, this research was conducted among 226 students and 54 teachers representing Moscow Aviation Institute and Kazan Federal University. Research methodology basis was represented by a sociological survey, which allowed identifying the problems of implementation of online learning from the students' standpoint. The collected outcomes showed that for 35% of students, one of the main problems in distance learning was the lack of self-discipline, which can be further adjusted by a clearly established schedule of classes (37% of respondents) and tests (29% of respondents). At the same time, the collected data showed that the learning process was most efficient in subgroups 1 (0.5), 2 (0.3), and 5 (0.45). Recommendations provided for further distance education improvement, first of all, related to schedule formation issues. More precisely, the paper emphasized the need for time constraints, even distribution of subjects, use of special applications, designation of dates for knowledge checking, and inclusion of additional learning materials. The findings and results of this work are believed to be of scientific value for the methodological departments of educational institutions responsible for curricula preparation as they are expected to significantly contribute to educational process advancement.

This research aimed to: firstly, find out the effectiveness of a developed online interactive learning in enhancing English in daily life towards ASEAN for hearing-impaired students at the lower secondary level. Secondly, to determine the learning achievement of the students who used the online interactive learning. Thirdly, to calculate the effectiveness index of the online interactive learning in enhancing English for the hearing-impaired students. Fourthly, to examine the relationship between learning avidity scores and learning achievement of the hearing-impaired students who used the online interactive learning. The research utilized a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The sample consisted of 35 hearing-impaired students at the lower secondary level from the School for the Deaf in Surin Province, who expressed interest and readiness. The data was collected during the first semester of the academic year 2022. The research employed four tools: online interactive learning related to English in daily life towards ASEAN, pre-test, post-test, and learning avidity scores based on the eight desirable characteristics of students. The data analysis involved the use of percentage, effectiveness index, dependent t-test, and Pearson's Product Correlation Coefficient. The research findings indicated that online interactive learning enhanced knowledge of English in everyday life towards ASEAN, with an efficiency rating of 1.82 according to the Meguigans' criterion.Similarly, the learners' learning achievement after using online interactive learning was higher compared to before learning, with a statistical significance level of 0.05. The effectiveness index of online interactive learning was found to be 0.3139, indicating that the learners experienced a learning progress of 31.39 percent, which did not align with the set assumptions (more than 0.80 or 80 percent). Furthermore, the study revealed that the learning avidity scores and learning achievement of the learners were significantly correlated at the 0.05 level.

The process of communication for deaf persons needs to be facilitated by a particular language. Friends who are deaf want language that is appropriate for everyday requirements in order to communicate and comprehend communications. The objectives of developing assistive technology for the Indonesian Sign Language System (SIBI) dictionary application are to optimize services, create friendly assistive technology, improve the language skills of students with hearing impairments by utilizing technology, and create an inclusive campus that is friendly for students with special needs. The model used in research and development (RD) is Borg Gall. The development stage of the SIBI dictionary application goes through 10 stages, from collecting vocabulary information to the resulting product in the form of an application embedded on a smartphone. Product testing was carried out in two stages to identify constraints in the application and use of the available features. The population was 17 students with special needs at various semester levels, including eight students with hearing impairments (deaf), students with visual impairment (blind/low vision) as many as eight students, then there is one student with obstacles to the function of mobility. The results of this study are that the SIBI Dictionary Application is a dictionary in the form of sign language videos equipped with sound and text as well as word meanings. The video also has a tutorial. This tool can help hearing-impaired pupils study after utilising a digital dictionary. Increasing hearing-impaired kids' vocabularies (value indicator assessment). Deaf community "GERKATIN" and special education students. Thus, the SIBI Dictionary Application with sign language movies with sound, text, and word definitions can better aid kids with special needs and can be downloaded from smartphone app services. All UNM students receive volunteer instruction from special needs classmates.
