Developing Learning-Based Preprocessing Methods for Detecting Complicated Vehicle Licence Plates

Abstract: A licence plate detection (LPD) system is an important tool in several roadway traffic applications. This study aims to develop an advanced detection system that works well in complicated scenarios.
