Developing critical thinking skills in Russian language studies: Online learning tools in Chinese universities

Abstract: The ChallengeThe present research puts forward a hypothesis about a possible correlation between critical thinking skills and the process of L2 learning (on the example of Russian), which can be clearly traced within the framework of Chinese online education. Apart from this, the paper also addresses the main challenges associated with the methods used in learning L2 online. In conclusion, it brings an assumption that the generalization of the results obtained can become a topic for future research.
