Developing Coordination As A Determinant Factor Of Proprioception In Football

Abstract: The aim of the research is to present coordination as the main factor of human proprioception. In this idea, coordination is addressed in the football game of children aged 10-12 through specific tests. Experimental pedagogy took place within a sports club from Braşov city to the age group of 10-12 years, practicing the football game. Through the three tests specifically used in the research, a correlation between football co-ordination (component of proprioception) and the specific football-specific coordinat… Show more

“…The level of coordination abilities plays an important role in the process of motor skills development, mastering technical and tactical actions and their realization in constantly changing conditions of competitive activity. In spite of the fact that the problem of coordination abilities development of athletes is not new [18,[20][21][22], there is a relevant need of searching various methodological approaches that could be applied in the system of qualified fencers' preparation. There is a lack of recent researches that cover the issue of the development of coordination abilities in fencing.…”

“…According to sports experts' opinion and scientific researches, coordination of movements is tightly connected to other types of coordination abilities and, first of all, to the ability of evaluating and regulating dynamic, spatial and timing parameters of movements [18,20,23]. The development of experimental complexes [1,10,22,24]. It is related to the fact that along with enhancing the athletes' qualification, the generalization and positive shifting in the sphere of abilities and motor skills reduces.…”

“…The review of the relevant literature on the problem of developing coordination abilities found that there is still no unanimity in methodological views across scientists and practitioners. According to [12][13][14][15], there are seven coordination abilities of the most significance. These are the ability to rearrange and adapt motor actions, kinaesthetic differentiation of movements (ball sensation), sense of the rhythm of movements, the ability to coordinate movements, orientation in space, speed of motor reaction, balance (in dynamic and static conditions).…”
