“…We found that the strongest correlation between prey type and forest type was for areas in a 1.0–1.5 km radius of the colony. Previous research approaches yielded a foraging range of 200 m to 2.5 km (Nalepa et al 2013, Careless et al 2014, McCabe and Chandler 2020). Our results are well within that range but serve to tighten the proposed window.…”
