“…Although more severe OSA aggravated asthma control, the meta-analysis came out that it was not associated with the risk of OSA (OR = 0.87, P = 0.047, I2 = 0%). In the two included studies with the largest population (N = 8400), AHI was slightly lower in asthmatic than in non-asthmatic patients with OSA [ 25 , 32 ] (26.2 vs 23.0 events/h, P < 0.001; 12.6 vs 11.3 events/h, P < 0.001).
