Aragão et al (2017) determined the equation of soil infiltration rate using a ring infiltrometer. They performed 17 consecutive readings interspersed at different times with a total duration of 65 minutes using the infiltration equation proposed by Kostiakov and obtained the basic infiltration rate (BIR) of 11.85 cm h -1 , which was classified as very high and was explained by the soil sandy texture in the study area.…”
