Detection of Metallo-Beta Lactamases Among Carbapenem-Resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa

Abstract: Background:Carbapenems are important drugs used for the treatment of Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections, however metallo-β-lactamases (MBL) are able to efficiently hydrolyze these classes of drugs.
