“…(Tono et al, 2015), M. haemocanis and ‘ Candidatus Mycoplasma haematoparvum ’ (Aquino et al, 2016). However, molecular evidence of ‘ Candidatus M. haemobos ’ has only been reported in Asia, America and Europe in cattle (Ayling et al, 2012; Girotto et al, 2012; Hoelzle et al, 2011; McFadden et al, 2016; Meli et al, 2010; Tagawa et al, 2008) and in dogs from northern Australia (Hii et al, 2012). The clinical significance of this organism in dogs remains to be determined.…”

“…We found that hemoplasmas are located outside the erythrocyte as has been reported as hemoplasmas, as is shown in Figure 4. Due to hemoplasmas can cause anemia, loss of weight, fever, edema, reproductive problems, mastitis and jaundice, their detection is the first step to characterize the agents present in the infected host (Ayling et al, 2012). Today, the use of molecular markers and their PCR amplification is the most accessible and common method to detect the presence of pathogens.…”

“…Recently, A. phagocytophilum has been reported in ruminants and I. ricinus, removed from humans, in the east Black Sea region of Turkey (10,11,12). Tick-born fever (TBF), which is caused by the prototype of Anaplasma phagocytophilum as a disease in cattle in England (13).…”
