“…A termografia infravermelha é apresentada como uma técnica: rápida, não-invasiva, sem contato, que permite o registo das variações dinâmicas em tempo real, que pode ser aplicada a grandes distâncias, que pode analisar e inspecionar grandes áreas em pequenos intervalos de tempo, de resultados fáceis e de rápida interpretação (Yehia et al, 2007;Washer;Fenwick;Bolleni, 2010;Sham;Lo;Memon, 2012;Watase et al, 2015;Hiasa;Rehman et al, 2016); além de ter uma instrumentação simples, na maior parte dos casos, só é necessária uma câmara termográfica, o apoio da câmara e uma saída de vídeo para observar imagens térmicas (Bagavathiappan et al, 2013). Apesar das muitas vantagens oferecidas pelo método na inspeção, o equipamento pode ser caro, não é sensível para detectar a profundidade dos defeitos e anomalias no concreto, e o ensaio é altamente influenciado pelas condições ambientais, tais como: vento, radiação solar, humidade e emissividade da superfície (Manning; Holt, 1980;Yehia et al, 2007;Washer;Fenwick;Bolleni, 2009;ACI, 2013) …”
