KurzfassungDas Ziel dieser Arbeit ist zunächst, das Verständnis für die Strömungsphänomene einer zweiflutigen asymmetrischen Radialturbine zu vertiefen. Basierend auf diesem Verständnis wird eine Methode entwickelt, die das Zusammenspiel der Turbine mit der Verbrennungskraftmaschine verlässlich und mit geringem Zeitaufwand vorhersagen kann. Die derzeit ungenügende, auf Kennfeldern beruhende Beschreibung der Turbine bei der Ladungswechselsimulation eines Abgasturbolader-aufgeladenen Motors soll verbessert werden. Die notwendigen aerodynamischen und thermodynamischen Messungen zur Beschreibung des Betriebsverhaltens der zweiflutigen Turbine werden im Rahmen der vorliegenden Arbeit durchgeführt.Einer Sichtung der auf diesem Gebiet bereits veröffentlichten wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten folgt eine Diskussion der Grundlagen der Turboaufladung. Es wird auf die Notwendigkeit der Kennfeldaufbereitung und die zu erwartenden Turbinenrandbedingungen im motorischen Betrieb eingegangen. Zur experimentellen Untersuchung wird eine Versuchsanlage ausgelegt, konstruiert und aufgebaut, die es erlaubt, die Randbedingungen für beide Fluten individuell einzustellen. Die Untersuchungen werden unter stationären Bedingungen durchgeführt, wobei besonderer Wert auf die Strömungsähnlichkeit bei unterschiedlichen Eintrittsbedingungen der beiden Fluten gelegt wird. Zum besseren Verständnis der Strömungsphänomene im Bereich der Zusammenführung der beiden Fluten der Turbine werden ergänzend laseroptische Strömungsanalysen durchgeführt. Die experimentell gewonnenen Daten werden schließlich zur Validierung eines dreidimensionalen Simulationsmodells verwendet.Die Strömung in der zweiflutigen Turbine wird weiterhin numerisch berechnet. Hierdurch lassen sich sehr detaillierte Erkenntnisse, vor allem in erweiterten motornahen Betriebsbereichen, die u.U. zu Rückströmungen in den einzelnen Fluten führen, gewinnen.Aus den Ergebnissen von Versuch und dreidimensionaler numerischer Strömungssimulation wird ein Modell der zweiflutigen Turbine für die Ladungswechselsimulation entwickelt und mit Ergebnissen aus Motorversuchen validiert. Zum Verständnis der Interaktion von Motor und Turbine wird das Interaktionskennfeld eingeführt und ein Ansatz zur betriebspunktorientierten Auslegung und Optimierung einer zweiflutigen Turbine vorgestellt. Außerdem wird ein Ansatz, der lediglich die Randkennfelder der zweiflutigen Turbine nutzt, vorgestellt.Abschließend werden besondere Konstellationen der Turbine, wie vertauschte Flutenanordnung und Einzelbeaufschlagung der Fluten sowohl experimentell als auch numerisch analysiert. Es folgen eine abschließende Zusammenfassung und eine Diskussion dieser weiterführenden Untersuchungen.
