Resumo O objetivo deste artigo é avaliar a qualidade de vida da mulher trabalhadora e verificar a suas relações com aspectos sociodemográficos e ocupacionais. Estudo transversal, em uma amostra de 579 mulheres trabalhadoras de um município de 318.000 habitantes. Os dados foram coletados por meio de questionário para caracterização sociodemográfica, ocupacional e do WHOQOL-BREF. Para análise utilizou-se estatística descritiva, Teste t-student e correlação de Pearson. As mulheres trabalhadoras apresentaram 42,70 ±13,74 anos, houve predomínio de escolaridade entre 09 a 12 anos, cor da pele branca, renda individual mensal de até um salário mínimo, com apenas um emprego com vínculo celetista ou funcionalismo público. A média da Qualidade de Vida foi de 72,87, com melhor resultado no domínio das Relações Sociais e o menor do Meio Ambiente. O domínio Meio Ambiente foi significativamente comprometido nas mulheres que não tinham pausas para descanso durante o trabalho, não tinham bom relacionamento com os colegas, apresentavam maior número de doenças ou lesões, possuíam menor escolaridade e renda mensal. O Domínio das Relações sociais foi significativamente afetado pelo número de lesões ou doenças.

Método: Estudio descriptivo-exploratorio, cuya muestra estuvo constituida por 58 mujeres con cáncer de mama en quimioterapia inscritas en el servicio ambulatorio público de oncología de Aracaju-Sergipe. La recolección de datos fue realizada entre octubre de 2011 a marzo de 2012, por medio de entrevistas semi-estructuradas. Los datos fueron procesados en el software SPSS, versión 17. Resultados: Entre las entrevistadas, 37 mu jeres (63,8%) relataron haber enfrentado por lo menos una barrera en la trayectoria de cuidado del cáncer de mama. Las barreras organizacionales o de los servicios de salud fueron las más citadas en los periodos de investigación y tratamiento del cáncer de mama. Conclusión: Las barreras deben ser consideradas en las políticas pú-blicas de salud y de los programas de control del cáncer de mama en Sergipe. Contato para correspondência: AbstractIntroduction: According to the National Curriculum Guidelines for Universities, established by the Ministry of Education and Culture, it is necessary the insertion of students of health undergraduate courses in the Brazilian public health system to acquire knowledge and experiences. Objective: Identify and analyze the opinion of users of a Family Health Unit about the presence and activity of nursing undergraduate students in the community. Patients and Methods: This is a cross-sectional, descriptive study with a quali-quantitative approach. We interviewed users of a Family Health Unit. Data were collected through a semistructured questionnaire, and they were descriptively analyzed. Results: We interviewed 26 users, all women. Of these, 11 (42.3%) declared they took part in activities with students. Immunization was the most performed activity (54.6%); 69.2% reported that students "speed-up care delivery" and "help the nursing team", while 11.6% reported insecurity as for the students' performance. Conclusion: The results showed that, in opinion of the users, the contribution of the insertion of the undergraduate students of nursing in the USF is positive.
