The increased number of items with a shorter useful life, the massive use of e-commerce, and increased environmental awareness with increasingly demanding laws on disposal of products, have created a large amount of returns increasing the importance of ReverseResumo: O aumento do número de produtos com vida útil menor, a intensificação no uso do comércio eletrônico, leis cada vez mais exigentes de responsabilidade sobre descarte dos produtos e uma crescente consciência ambiental têm gerado um elevado número de retornos, fazendo crescer a importância da Logística Reversa para as empresas e para a sociedade, de forma geral. Contudo, constatou-se na literatura que se trata de uma área ainda pouco explorada e, portanto, não existem dados concretos para se trabalhar e explorar as oportunidades de melhoria. Com o intuito de mitigar esta carência, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica acerca da relação entre a Logística Reversa e o desempenho empresarial, bem como uma pesquisa junto às empresas, procurando verificar como se dá este relacionamento. Como resultado principal, relacionado diretamente com o objetivo do trabalho, obteve-se um modelo conceitual que contribuiu para a ampliação da visão gerencial sobre o processo de Logística Reversa, modelo este que inclui indicadores de desempenho que permitem avaliar a atividade. Também é proposta do trabalho a utilização de métodos de Tomada de Decisão com Múltiplos Critérios, ferramenta esta que facilita a seleção dos indicadores segundo as estratégias das empresas.Palavras-chave: Logística Reversa. Modelo de Gerenciamento da Logística Reversa Reverse Logistics Management Model IntroduçãoCom o surgimento do novo modelo de gerenciamento empresarial baseado na competitividade, a Logística Empresarial, de forma geral, e a Logística Reversa (LR), em particular, têm-se tornado um assunto de prioridade nos negócios da empresa.Neste sentido, a LR passou a ser estudada visando a sua adaptação em um mercado altamente competitivo.Além do aumento da eficiência e da competitividade das empresas, a mudança na cultura de consumo por parte dos clientes também tem incentivado a LR. Os consumidores estão exigindo um nível de serviço mais elevado das empresas e estas, como forma de diferenciação e fidelização dos clientes, estão investindo em LR.

Abstract. Closed-Loop Supply Chain (CLSC) management has attained appreciable attention over the last few years. CLSC management allows companies to manage their recovery and recycling activities of end products. Due to the latest developments in the world, producers are responsible for the collection, refurbishing, repairing and disassembly of end products at the end of their lives. This paper develops a mixed-integer CLSC model that is inspired by the automotive industry. In this model, we consider three Decision Makers (DM): Plant, Dismantler Center and Customer. Each DM has individual objectives and is responsible for only its own objective function under same constraints. In order to tackle the trade-offs among the objectives, we used four different Interactive Fuzzy Programming (IFP) approaches. The applications of the model and solution techniques are investigated in conjectural data. The paper ends with a conclusion and a call for future studies.

This study presents a novel approach to designing and evaluating 'last-mile' solutionsencompassing the social and economic perspectives of key stakeholders. While urban system initiatives have been implemented in practice, theoretical gaps remain at the operational design level. A theoretical framework is developed, based on design criteria identified from a critical synthesis of supply chain and operations management literature, and 'operationalised' using an in-depth case study demonstrating implementation of a Consumer Choice Portal-Package Consolidation Centre solution, within a densely populated urban geography.Findings suggest that there is a need to re-define the role of institutional actors beyond that of the traditional governance task, to one of being able to facilitate performance outcomes. Similarly, industrial efficiency dimensions need to be re-orientated to include consumer participation, social considerations and multi-stakeholder service outcomes. Finally, implications for operations theory and practising managers in city logistics are highlighted, with suggested directions for future research.
