Environmental monitoring has become a very important link in environmental management and protection. In this paper, an Android-based environmental monitoring information management system has been designed, organically integrating the key processes and resource conditions of environmental monitoring into the system for effective management and control. Furthermore, using mobile design, it has been more efficient, flexible, and convenient. The system is designed in the MVC pattern and divided into five levels: basic layer, data layer, support layer, application layer, and presentation layer, while including five functional modules as follows: business process management, resource management, data management, sample management and system management, achieving automation in environmental monitoring processes and dynamic resource management. The implementation of this system enables environmental monitoring laboratories to enhance the management level, greatly reduce management costs, ensure the accuracy and safety of experimental data, and therefore have great promotion value.
