This study aims to investigate and compare the effect of the Blended Learning (BL) approach to Face to Face (FTF) teaching method on students' level of performance and sport participation motivation level. It is a qualitative study using the quasi-experimental method and applying the pre-test/post-test two-groups design model. The participants of this study were 40 female undergraduate students of School of Physical Education/University of Jordan. They were beginners enrolled in ballet classes with no previous experience in ballet; 18 students attended the FTF ballet class (control group), and 22 students attended the BL ballet class (experimental group). Skill performance tests and Sport participation Motivation Scale SMS-28 were used to collect the study's pre and post data. The data were then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of this study revealed no significant differences between teaching strategies in relation to students' level of performance. On the other hand, significant differences occurred in post-tests of students' motivation level in favor of the BL group. All intrinsic and extrinsic motivation subscales except for amotivation were significantly different in favor of BL classes. In conclusion, BL proved to be an efficient and convenient methodology in terms of enhancing students' level of performance and boost their motivation for sports participation.

School + Family Community Learning Model of PE Course under COVID-19 Epidemic Situation

Influenced by COVID-19 epidemic, students cannot learn PE course offline, and online live streaming becomes a main method under the epidemic situation. How to guarantee students’ learning quality at home and communication among students, parents and teachers is a matter of concern. Besides, traditional PE teaching model also has many defects, and students’ dependence on the teacher is strong. On this basis, the school + family community learning model was constructed in this study based on big data technique and online teaching under the COVID-19 epidemic situation. This model takes the collaboration among students, parents and teachers as the core and key, aims to improve teachers’ online teaching effect and students’ online learning quality, including four stages: connection stage, adaptation stage, proficiency stage and integration stage. In addition, this model was applied in PE teaching in combination of cooperative learning. Meanwhile, the main first-level evaluation indexes of the model were developed, including teaching and resource platform, infrastructure, environment and layout, IoT application, intelligent recording and playing, training scheme, intelligent control and perception. The teaching effect was verified by the questionnaire method, and the result demonstrates that the teaching model improves both teachers’ online teaching capability and students’ online learning quality.

With the continuous development of the economy, science and technology have achieved unprecedented development along with the improvement of the economy. The first thing to bear is the continuous popularization and application of the Internet, which drives the development of Internet technology. Many online learning platforms currently used by universities only focus on the teacher system and teaching system. Compared with other subjects, there are fewer learning materials on the Internet for gymnastics teaching, and the lack of systematic teaching is the primary problem that most schools need to overcome. The current method of online learning has changed the relatively scarce phenomenon of resources in face-to-face teaching in the past, and has excellent improvements in the organization and improvement of resources. By constructing the framework of a professional teaching resource library, collecting and properly sorting out learning materials, and at the same time designing and producing network multimedia courseware to facilitate the learning of scholars. Network teaching technology is realized by the combination of Internet and multimedia equipment. This technology can not only give play to the advantages of computers in network data transmission, but also embody a new teaching model with teachers and students as the main body. Therefore, adjusting teaching methods, building a better learning space, and using CAI courseware learning resources connected by campus network is an important way for students to make compensatory learning, and it is also the main direction for scientific and technological progress in gymnastics teaching. The experimental results prove that the online multimedia learning platform can provide students with more gymnastics learning resources, increase students' interest and time in learning; it can effectively improve the teaching quality of teachers, and use the convenient interactivity of the network to realize a resource library The rapid update of the content enables the teaching content to keep up with the needs and pace of the development of the times.
