Design of dual‐band MIMO monopole antenna with high isolation using slotted CSRR for WLAN

Abstract: In this article, we proposed a dual‐band multi‐input multi‐output (MIMO) antenna using slotted complementary split ring resonator (CSRR). The designed MIMO antenna for WLAN at 2.45 and 5 GHz provides high isolation with the slotted CSRR inserted on the ground plane. The measured gain and efficiency of the designed MIMO antenna was 4.025 dBi and 86.64%, respectively.
