The global COVID-19 pandemic has led to the self-isolation of people and the transformation of many economic and social processes into an electronic version thus contributing to the digitalization of all spheres. Being part of this environment, enterprises generate information resources to develop their desired image, which may vary according to the factors characterizing the information environment. Information capital is a comprehensive characteristic of an enterprise and determines its effectiveness and sustainability. The purpose of this study is to develop a toolkit that allows one to assess the information capital of an enterprise, reflecting its perception within the digital information environment. It is necessary to develop the methodology for the formation of such tools. As a result, a fuzzy-plural approach has been developed to evaluate the index of external information capital. This model allows us to assess the external information capital and to simulate its changes caused by various kinds of information events. The study of key elements, for example, the stability and tonality indices, index of target perception made it possible to systematize chaotic changes in the external environment and describe them using the Chen–Lee attractor model. The results of this study can be useful for researchers in the field of digital information analysis, in particular for the comparative analysis of enterprises and the assessment of their information capital.

Modeling the processes of creating and improving production technologies is one of the most important tasks in the sphere of providing competitiveness for enterprises, branches and complexes in the strategic aspect. For the moment, the model Gartner’s Hype Cycle is used for the specified tasks, which describes changes in expectations from technologies in the course of a determined period of time from the moment when this technology appears to the moment of its complete development. At that, the results of analysis of literary sources on the explored theme speak about the lack of effective instruments for mathematical description of the process of developing and implementing production technologies in the practice of industrial enterprises. The given circumstance has validated the necessity of working out a mathematic model for the specified process; its elements should have a determined functional designation and it enables comparing the processes of development of different technologies.

Requirements engineering represents the most crucial stage in the complex systems development process. Contemporary methods of requirements engineering assume a wide application of models (described, for example, with such languages as SysML or OPM), which allows to ensure the consistency and completeness of the system descriptions. The article assesses the applicability of the Archimate language to support the process of requirements engineering when creating complex technical systems. Requirements engineering method for complex technical systems, suitable for models described by the Archimate language is proposed. Detailed example demonstrating the proposed method when developing system requirements is given. The limitations of the Archimate language applicability for the engineering of systems of various classes are described.
