This work relates to the identification and mapping of potential safety risks and mitigation measures for an educational 13.8 kV electrical substation, which was built in real operating conditions, ensuring compliance with all necessary rules in interventions with safety, according to the peculiarity of the users, instructors and students. Due to the scarcity of information to validate the study, a semi-structured qualitative interview was conducted with relevant professionals. The interviewed specialists pointed out the need for avoiding distractions, strictly following procedures and knowing the installed equipment, besides the technical and regulatory norms.
