The use of STEM approaches based on local wisdom is a trend in itself in the multicultural country of Indonesia. The collaboration between the two became one of the builders in strengthening character building strategies with the STEM-LW relationship. This study aims to see the direction of the trend of STEM-LW character research over time. This research is an in-depth literature study research using bibliometric analysis techniques. The stages in the implementation include preparation, data collection, data management, data extraction, data visualization, and data conclusion drawing. Analysis techniques using manual investigations and bibliometric analysis with the help of supporting software Publish or Perish, Reference Manager Zotero, and VOS viewers. The results showed of 750 total publications in the period 2007-2002 which came from 3 indexers. The total articles after submission were 467 articles that met the requirements with STEM-LW character keyword. journal articles are predominantly from Indonesia with three developmental periods, namely the pioneer period, the development period, and the stable period. Development being the top item that appears most often in the article, and perception is the relevant palng item. The direction of STEM-LW character research is towards education, including development, analysis and implementation in learning. Development research trends are in item analysis, effectiveness, ability, impact, creativity, and stem approach. The clusters that are most often used as side topics in research are class I and II. No impact emphasizes STEM-LW on character.

<span lang="EN-US">The various cultures that have entered Indonesia country make national identity and character must be strengthened by involving local wisdom in the learning activity. This study provided the bibliometric and bibliographic review of many qualified literatures about local wisdom-based learning. A bibliometric analysis was employed to conduct this study supported by some software such as VOSviewer and Publish or Perish (PoP). There were 173 documents from Scopus database published in 2012–2021 involved in this study. Results revealed that publication trends on local wisdom-based learning increased slightly from 2012 to 2020, while the development of number of citations tended to be fluctuated in the period of 2012–2021. In addition, the influential papers about local wisdom-based learning were published by most of Indonesian researchers. The trending research on local wisdom-based learning was the development of local wisdom-based teaching materials in science or physics learning to educate Indonesian elementary students’ character in which ethno-medicine-based science learning was the newly trending research. This study provides information for researchers in history education that studies related to the development of local wisdom-based historical teaching materials and the use of these teaching materials in the implementation of history learning seem like not much have been conducted in which it is expected to reinforce students’ national identity and character.</span>

Research will focus on generating a profile of research trends in online physics learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The main research is bibliometric. Scopus document data collection in August 2021. The 1007 document results with keywords online physics learning. Then focused on 2020 and 2021* as 277 document results of which these 2 years are the COVID-19 pandemic period. In general, the research results show that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a positive impact on accelerating online learning in developing countries. Another finding is online learning which is proven to be effective for improving student learning outcomes in physics learning. Educational transformations today and after the COVID-19 pandemic can occur in online education, changes in learning from home, changes in roles, and approaches. The research implications are supported by recent research: (1) These findings will provide an empirical basis for the development of physics education research, especially online physics learning during the COVID-19 pandemic; (2) Deep learning system, machine learning system, and education computing can still become a research trend in current research, especially in the integration and adaptation in physics learning; (3) Retracing the trend and novelty of physics education research, especially in the physics education undergraduate program.
