Background: Photoaging causes wrinkles, lentigines, keratoses, dyspigmentation, telangiectasia, decreased elasticity, rough texture, and pale color. Facial wrinkles and mottled skin can negatively affect perceived attractiveness, self-esteem, personality, and level of acceptance. Stem cells are important cells in the skin, and they are the source for continuous regeneration of the epidermis. It can be extracted from many sources, including amnion. Amnion membrane stem cell (AMSC) can be cultured and secretes metabolite product, and it can rejuvenate aging skin. Laser-Assisted Drug Delivery (LADD) involves selective destruction of the layers of the epidermis and dermis to allow penetration and absorption of topical drugs as well as large molecular weight drugs such as stem cells. Purpose: To evaluate the long-term effects of topical administration of AMSC metabolite products (AMSC -MP) and fractional CO2 laser on the clinical improvement of photoaging compared to previous skin conditions. Methods: This was an observational study which was aimed to evaluate the long-term effects of clinical improvement after topical therapy of AMSC-MP and fractional CO2 laser in patients with photoaging. Results: The results of the analysis showed a decrease in wrinkles, dark spots, skin tone, and pores. Conclusion: Based on Janus-II® assessment, there was improvement degrees of wrinkles, dark spots, and pores in patients with photoaging who received fractional CO2laser fractional for 12 weeks. There were no side effects found in this study.

Kondisi usia rata-rata dosen yang sudah diatas 30 tahun cenderung berisiko mengalami penuaan ekstrinsik. Kesadaran para dosen untuk melindungi diri dari paparan sinar UV baik melalui penggunaan pelindung dan penggunaan sunscreen rutin masih rendah. meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan seluruh dosen FK Unimal tentang penuaan ekstrinsik dan pentingnya menghindari sinar ultraviolet melalui penggunaan payung/topi dan sunscreen. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah melalui tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan dan monitoring evaluasi. Pengabdi menilai ada tidaknya peningkatan kesadaran dosen dalam menggunakan sunscreen dan penilaian persentase tingkat pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan terhadap menghindari sinar matahari yang dinilai melalui kuesioner google form yang telah tervalidasi. Sebagian besar dosen memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap yang cukup baik (44,83%) dan tindakan yang kurang baik (51,72%) dalam menghindari paparan sinar ultraviolet. Tindakan dosen diharapkan dapat meningkat melalui sosialisasi penggunaan payung, topi dan sunscreen sehingga para dosen tidak hanya memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap yang cukup baik terhadap pentingnya melindungi diri dari sinar ultraviolet namun dapat dibuktikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Iuaran dari kegiatan ini adalah mengetahui akan peningkatan kesadaran dosen dalam meningkatkan perlindungan dari sinar UV. Penggunaan alat pelindung diri berupa topi, payung dan sunscreen perlu disosialisasikan karena masih minimnya tindakan dosen dalam menghindari paparan sinar ultraviolet dan tinglat pengetahuan dan sikap dosen diharapkan dapat meningkat pada tingkat yang sangat baik.

Arabica coffee (Coffea arabica) is a natural antioxidant that can be used in the prevention of skin aging. This study was conducted to determine the comparison of variations in the composition of HPMC, CMC-Na, and Carbomer in the optimum formula of arabica coffee serum, then to determine the physical properties of the preparation, as well as the IC50 value ofarabica coffee extract and arabica coffee serum in the DPPH test. Arabica coffee extract was obtained by maceration method using 70% ethanol. Determination of the optimum formula of arabica coffee serum using the Simplex Lattice Design method. The optimum formula of arabica coffee serum was evaluated for physical properties including organoleptic test, homogeneity test, pH test, spreadability test, and adhesion test. The antioxidant activity of arabica coffee extract and the optimum formula of arabica coffee serum was tested using the DPPH method. Data analysis used SPSS One sample T-test statistics. The results showed that the composition variation of HPMC, CMC-Na, and Carbomer in the optimum formula of arabica coffee serum using the Simplex Lattice Design method was 0.1%:0.8%:0.1%. The resulting predicted values are a pH value of 4.88 and a spreadability value of 7.95 cm. The optimum formula of arabica coffee serum has the physical properties of the preparation, namely brown color, coffee aroma, light texture, a cool sensation when applied to the skin, homogeneous, has a spreadability of 7.93 cm, stickiness of 1 second, and pH value of 4.9. The IC50 value of arabica coffee extract and the optimum formula of arabica coffee serum are 8.13 ppm and 250 ppm. The results of the SPSS One sample T-test statistical analysis showed that there was no significant difference between the prediction response and the results of the optimum formula evaluation.
