Dermatomyositis and polymyositis in total hip arthroplasty

Abstract: BACKGROUND Idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIM) are systemic autoimmune disorders such as dermatomyositis (DM), polymyositis (PM), inclusion body myopathy, and autoimmune necrotizing myopathy that, similar to osteoarthritis, affect quality of life and activities of daily living.
