Although the Remuda Ranch Programs for Eating Disorders facility has become a rich source of data for researchers in recent years, and its diagnostic procedures have provided researchers with diagnostic data that have been used to examine various eating disorder related issues, including (but not limited to) rates of eating disorder comorbidity (e.g., Blinder et al, 2006), relationships between eating disorders and internalizing disorders (Kim et al, 2012), and effectiveness of adjunctive eating disorder treatments (Zuercher et al, 2003), evidence of inter-rater reliability of the eating disorder diagnoses would offer greater confidence in the diagnostic-specific findings.
