Demographic and temporal trends in transgender identities and gender confirming surgery

Abstract: Transgender and gender non-binary (TGNB) individuals are a growing demographic with unique healthcare needs. Amid changes in public and private insurance coverage of gender confirming surgeries (GCS), utilization of these procedures is increasing.
