Delayed Re-Epithelialization in Periostin-Deficient Mice during Cutaneous Wound Healing

Abstract: BackgroundMatricellular proteins, including periostin, are important for tissue regeneration.Methods and FindingsPresently we investigated the function of periostin in cutaneous wound healing by using periostin-deficient (−/−) mice.
