“…For all the instruments, we have assumed a tolerance-uncertainty ratio (TUR) of 4:1. By applying the approach described by Whitfield and Osterwald, 29 it is possible to calculate the expanded uncertainty for a single voltage measurement V in 1996 and 2017 using Equations ( 6) and ( 7) and for a single current measurement I using Equations (8) and ( 9):…”

“…This great longevity of the PV modules was the origin of degradation model development of PV modules or accelerated aging tests to evaluate this degradation. Finally, for models based on accelerated aging tests, according to Charki et al (2013), the limitation of accelerated testing of PV modules models cited by these four studies is that they do not use the relationships between the accelerated tests and the nominal conditions or the stochastic aspect of these conditions. To remedy this deficiency, the authors (Lyu et al , 2020; Kim et al , 2019; Sayed et al , 2019; Charrouf et al , 2017; Zhang et al , 2013) recommend consideration of constraints influencing the aging of PV modules as stochastic parameters in the reliability studies. In this regard, there is a justified choice of these parameters.…”

“…However, experimental studies are more notable and mostly confined to specific geographical locations. For instance, for degradation in mono c-Si, studies on 7 years aged modules in Singapore (Luo et al, 2019), 5 years aged modules in India (Dubey et al, 2017), 5 and 10 years aged modules in Algeria (Charrouf et al, 2017), 3 years aged modules in Senegal (Ndiaye et al, 2015), 12 years aged modules in Ghana (Aboagye et al, 2021), and 22 years aged modules in Spain (Lillo-Sánchez et al, 2021) are notable. For degradation in poly c-Si, studies on 3 years aged modules in Indonesia (Sinaga et al, 2019), 9 years aged modules in Malaysia (Islam et al, 2018), and 3 years aged modules in India (Dubey et al, 2017) are notable.…”
