Abstract: IntroductionAcute haemorrhagic diarrhoea syndrome (AHDS) in dogs is a condition of unknown aetiology. Providencia alcalifaciens is suspected to play a role in the disease as it was commonly found in dogs suffering from AHDS during a Norwegian outbreak in 2019.
