Defects Classification of Hydro Generators in Indonesia by Phase-Resolved Partial Discharge

Abstract: This paper proposed a phase-resolved partial discharge (PRPD) shape method to classify types of defect generator units by using offline partial discharge (PD) measurement instruments. In this paper, the experimental measurement was applied to two generators in the Inalum hydropower plant, located in North Sumatera, Indonesia.
