Abstract:Entre os anos de 1906 e 1908, o cartofilista Augusto de Oliveira recebeu mais de 300 cartões-postais de diversas partes do mundo. Do Cairo a Tóquio, esses postais, ilustrados com fotografias de “tipos” e “paisagens”, são registros de uma época imersa em um regime de visualidade marcado pela reprodutibilidade técnica da imagem e pelo colonialismo europeu na África e Ásia.
