ZUS AMMENFASSUNG :Es wird die Trennung Caz+/Sr2+ und die einfache frontandytische Abtrennung von Erdalkalispuren aus LMungen hoher Alkaliionen-Konzentration an dem Chelataustauscher auf Basis o-(2-Hydroxypheny1azo)benzoesiiure beschrieben. Die Kapazitllt des Austauschers betriigt 3,20 mMol/Gramm lufttrockenem Material. ZUSAMMENFASSUNG:Eine neue, breit anwendbare Methode zur Darstellung von Celluloseaustauschern wird beschrieben. Bei der Synthese wird das Reaktionsprinzipder Reaktivfarbstoffe ,,RemazoY@ (WZ der Hoechst AG) in veranderter Form zugrunde gelegt. Die Synthese gelingt in zwei Varianten. Nach Variante A lassen sich funktionelle Gruppen direkt an Cellulose binden, nach B werden sie durch Diazo-Kupplung gebunden. SUMMARY:A new widely applicable method for the preparation of compounds for selective exchange on the basis of cellulose is described. For the synthesis the reaction principle for the preparation of ,,Remazol"@ (TM of Hoechst AG) dye stuffs is used in a modified form. Two variants are used. According to variant A functional groups are bound directly to cellulose. In variant B they are bound by diazo-coupling.

Beaded copolymers of styrene, p-methoxystyrene, and divinylbenzene were obtained by suspension copolymerization of various mixtures of the monomers. Reaction of the polymers with boron tnbromide in dichloromethane, followed by methanolysis in carbon tetrachloride, provided a simple and general route to p-hydroxystyrene polymers. ZUSAMMENFASSUNG:Perlcopolymere aus Styrol, p-Methoxystyrol und Divinylbenzol wurden durch Suspensionscopolymerisation verschiedener Monomermischungen erhalten. Die Reaktion der Polymeren mit Bortribromid in Dichlormethan mit anschliefiender Methanolyse in Tetrachlorkohlenstoff stellt eine einfache und allgemeine Methode zur Herstellung von p-Hydroxystyrolpolymeren dar.
