Cytomorphology of nodular histiocytic/mesothelial hyperplasia

Abstract: Nodular histiocytic/mesothelial hyperplasia (NHMH) is a pathologic entity that has not been well characterized in the cytopathology literature. This is unfortunate because if unrecognized, NHMH may be misdiagnosed when encountered in cytology specimens.
