Currículos disciplinares na área de saúde: ensaio sobre saber e poder

Abstract: O presente artigo traz uma revisão histórica sobre a construção do conhecimento e do poder a partir da organização disciplinar como base para a discussão do confinamento do saber em disciplinas na formação dos profissionais de saúde e suas consequências nos modos de produzir atenção à saúde. Ato contínuo, propõe a interdisciplinaridade, a transdisciplinaridade e o pensamento complexo como referenciais teóricos para ultrapassagem da lógica disciplinar.

“…An intercultural curriculum to value diversity must take into account the needs of all people living in any nation, regardless of any social marker. In the particular case of health, this is diffi cult to do in Brazil since the curricula in health have been very marked by an emphasis on technology, expertise, rules and high costs and less focus has been given to the primary care health of populations considering ethical issues (Albuquerque;Batista et al, 2009).
