Current status and changing national scenario of goat population: A review

Abstract: Goats have been associated with man since dawn of agriculture and domestication of animals, making them socioeconomically, a very important animal providing products (meat, milk, fibre, hair ) and service to man throughout the world, especially in developing countries. “…The increase in the use of farm machinery for agriculture was enhanced by subsidized credit schemes from the central and state governments [6].
