El propósito de este estudio fue investigar el papel de las tecnologías de la información en la educación bajo la ley marcial en Ucrania, utilizando métodos matemáticos de análisis, análisis de datos estadísticos y entrevistas semiestructuradas. Se ha establecido que el proceso educativo llevado a cabo por las instituciones educativas ucranianas bajo la ley marcial garantizará la continuidad de la educación ya que los participantes en el proceso educativo cuentan con suficientes tecnologías de la información, así como los niveles básicos y superiores necesarios de alfabetización digital. Los resultados de este trabajo son de importancia práctica para los académicos y educadores que trabajan para mejorar las estrategias de aprendizaje a distancia de emergencia y el uso de tecnologías de la información en el proceso educativo. El aprendizaje a distancia en condiciones extremas es la única manera de que las generaciones más jóvenes no pierdan el tiempo esperando condiciones favorables para el aprendizaje. La investigación adicional debe dirigirse a la creación de métodos de estimación efectivos, conectados con las tecnologías de la información.

The conducted research revealed that first-year students of the medical faculty prefer distance learning and the use of multiple-choice testing on an electronic educational platform when studying the course "Bioorganic Chemistry." Meanwhile, traditional classroom sessions without visual aids and open-ended questions showed the lowest performance indicators. However, students mentioned that they most effectively assimilate the educational material during such sessions, while also acknowledging the positive impact of quality visual aids on comprehension. Based on the obtained results, it is recommended to continue developing a question bank and utilizing the electronic educational platform with multiple-choice testing, but with modifications to the tasks and variations in test parameters. The research indicates that students perceive the use of technology and interactive teaching methods positively, which provide a more flexible learning environment and the opportunity for independent study. The research findings can be valuable in curriculum development and improving the quality of the educational process. Furthermore, it is worth considering the possibility of implementing a wider range of interactive teaching methods and utilizing modern technologies that foster active student engagement in the learning process. This chapter investigates the far-reaching consequences of conflict on higher education systems in Syria, Iraq, Ukraine, and Afghanistan. It dives into the issues that these countries face, including the destruction of academic infrastructure, displacement of professors and students, curriculum changes, and gender inequities. Despite these adversities, professors and students demonstrate tremendous perseverance. International collaborations and support play an essential role in protecting education opportunities. The chapter underlines the continuing importance of education in building stability, peacemaking, and growth in war-torn communities, offering hope for a brighter future.
