Cross-tissue transcriptome-wide association studies identify susceptibility genes shared between schizophrenia and inflammatory bowel disease

Abstract: Genetic correlations and an increased incidence of psychiatric disorders in inflammatory-bowel disease have been reported, but shared molecular mechanisms are unknown.
