Creation of combined σ‐ϵ graphs for some engineering materials

Abstract: This paper presents the characterization of engineering materials according to stress‐strain diagrams, according to the basic material, namely partially according to the basic material groups that correspond to the generally applicable division into metals, glasses, ceramics, composites, polymers, and elastomers. These groups of materials are presented using combined graphs obtained from the authors’ own method of solving the given problem. For the purpose of generalization, the conception according to the pub… Show more

“…The aim of the authors is to contribute to solving the problems of material engineering, to study the specifics in the behavior of nanostructured technical materials. We are mainly concerned with changes in mechanical properties such as strength, hardness, ductility, fracture resistance, abrasion resistance, corrosion, increased functional safety and durability of structures, structures and equipment, depending on the size of the structural grain and the economic difficulty and other contexts of individual projects [7][8][9][10][11][12].…”
