“…At this point, metal alloys came into the research range due to excellent permittivity and permeability, with NiCo alloys being the most notable [ 17 , 18 ]. NiCo alloys possess the characteristics of high-temperature calcination resistance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, and easy extraction [ 19 , 20 ], and are widely used in high-tech fields such as aerospace.…”

“…The expansion could be ascribed to the larger Co ions introduced into the tungsten oxide lattice (the ionic radii were listed in Table S1) [27,34] . Moreover, a smaller spacing of 0.204 nm was observed in the HRTEM image of the Co−WO sample, which might be attributed to the (111) plane of the Ni‐based alloy [31–33] . This can also be detected in WO as shown in Figure S4a.…”

“…In the XRD pattern, except for the peaks of WO 2.72 and WO 2 , there were peaks located at 44.09, 51.06 and 75.26°. The diffraction peaks of NiCo, NiFe and NiW alloy were all located closely around those position [31][32][33] and difficult to distinguish; therefore, the particles represented by these peaks were called Ni-based alloy. All three catalysts comprised tungsten oxide (WO 2.72 and WO 2 ) and Ni-based alloys, indicating that the addition of Co and Fe altered the morphology of the catalysts; however, their basic phase compositions were not modified, as observed by SEM and XRD.…”

“…[ 103 ] Therefore, recently, researchers have attempted to regulate the crystallinity and electronic properties of catalysts by introducing complexes into the defective CeO 2 system, including nitrides, [ 96,104 ] phosphides, [9b,101] hydroxides, [ 105 ] metals, [ 106 ] and alloys. [ 107 ] Yao et al developed a high‐performance CeO 2 /Co 4 N electrocatalyst for electrochemical hydrogen evolution, which enhanced the alkaline HER kinetics and long‐term stability (as shown in Figure 11d, the cyclic diagram). They also investigated the role of abundant oxygen vacancies by DFT calculations and experimental results [104a] .…”
