In recent years, ubiquitous-based telemedicine has become increasingly popular in many countries; this is a new discipline that can break distance barriers in order to improve access to various medical services. Due to recent progress in telecare services, scientists provided those pregnant women with advanced medical care via medical cyber-physical systems (MCPS) to achieve eugenics. The MCPS presents a new level of integrated intelligence that is characterized by interaction and coordination of computing processes with physical processes. In an environment of MCPS, security is one of the key objectives for ubiquitous telemonitoring. In this paper, we take advantage of the cloud characteristics and the high efficiency of MCPS to achieve the desired medical monitoring and also to effectively protect pregnancy-related privacy. We establish a cloud computing platform for all users to access the cloud information at any time in accordance with their own demands. We also used cryptography to design the medical system. Identity-based combined encryption and signature cryptosystem were proposed as the best ways to ensure the security and privacy of healthcare data in the cloud. Accurately determining the precursors of coal and rock failures is crucial for preventing associated risks in coal mines. In this study, based on the values of the four parameters amplitude, duration, counts and energy of acoustic emission (AE) signals, the AE signals of coal and sandstone samples failure were clustered by the two‐step clustering method. And the precursory AE signals of sample failure under uniaxial compression were analyzed and identified. Results show that the peak of AE amplitude is before that of AE duration, counts, and energy. AE signals of both coal and sandstone samples can be classified into five types. Values of the parameters of Types I–IV AE signals of the sandstone sample are lower than that of the coal sample. The duration, counts, and energy of Type V AE signals of the sandstone sample are higher than that of the coal sample. Type V AE signals, which are middle amplitude (hundreds of mV), high duration (hundreds of thousands of μS), high counts (about 10,000), and high energy (tens of thousands of mV*mS), account for the lowest proportion of all AE signals, at approximately 0.1%. And they began to occur at 87% σc of the coal sample and at 97% σc of the sandstone sample, respectively. Type V AE signals can be used as precursors of coal and sandstone samples failure under uniaxial compression.

Trust and energy aware routing algorithm for Internet of Things networks

The expansion in the Internet of Things (IoT) has led to a shift towards smart technologies. IoT focuses on integrating networks to facilitate smooth services to humans. The interface between the mobility patterns and the routing protocols is considered to increase the performance of the network. However, incorporating security in the IoT network has been a major issue that continues to nurture with increasing IoT devices. This article addresses this issue by developing a novel technique, namely energy harvesting trust aware routing algorithm (EHTARA) for initiating a trust‐based routing model in the IoT network in the presence of ambient energy sources. The cost metric is newly devised by considering energy, distance, and trust parameters for determining the best path. At the base station, big data classification is performed using the adaptive exponential‐Bat (adaptive E‐Bat) algorithm based deep belief network (DBN). The training of DBN is performed using the adaptive E‐Bat algorithm, which is the combination of adaptive concept, exponential weighted moving average (EWMA), and Bat algorithm (BA). Here, the optimization‐based map‐reduce framework helps to deal with the imbalanced data by adapting the deep learning in classification. The proposed EHTARA outperformed other methods with a maximal energy of 0.927.
