Cost and profit analysis of sour cherry production for industrial purposes in Hungary

Abstract: Our main objective in this present study is to evaluate the profitability and efficiency of sour cherry production by a complex economic analysis of its technological process. We concluded that the per kilogram prime costs range between 80 to 90 HUF/kg in case of sour cherry for industrial purposes. On this basis, it is clear that the 50 to 90 HUF/kg regular selling prices of previous years do not make profitable production possible. “…In addition to the base fertilizers, top fertilizers were also applied in a differentiated and positioned manner in several rounds in the years of experiment. Collected data came from production technology and enterprise management data for the years 2019-2022, in order to evaluate the efficiency of production by a complex economic approach of its technological process (APÁTI et al 2010;SULYOK et al 2013;ZHANG -KOVACS, 2012). Recording the material costs, machinery costs, labour costs and other direct costs, the sectoral cost-income analysis was carried out for silage cultivation technology variants.…”

“…In the course of our analytical work, we defined a farm of 2100 hectares, for which we examined crop production, crop machinery and economic aspects. We based our data on cultivation technology and enterprise management data for the years 2019-2021, in order to evaluate the profitability and efficiency of production by a complex economic analysis of its technological process (APÁTI et al 2010;SULYOK et al 2013). Efficiency can be measured in different ways, with different levels of indicators (NÁBRÁDI et al, 2008).…”

“…Ezek alapján a sportszektor olyan iparág, ahol gazdasági társaságok és civil szervezetek sporttevékenység céljából hoznak létre sportterméket és -szolgáltatást, továbbá a szervezetek jellegéből adódóan lehetnek for-vagy nonprofit céllal működőek. Az iparági elemzés olyan módszer, ami a vezetés számára információt nyújt egyrészt a rendszer egészének működéséről, másrészt a rendszer egyes elemeinek (pl: beszerzési, termelési, fejlesztési tevékenységek) módszeres vizsgálatáról (Nábrádi et al, 2008;Apáti et al, 2010). Tehát ezen elemzés során komplex képet mutatunk be az ágazat főbb jellemzőiről, jelen lévő és várható trendekről, ágazati szereplőkről és a közöttük megjelenő versenyről, valamint a főbb piaci részesedésekről és lehetőségekről (Szűcs et al, 2014).…”
