Corticotropin-releasing hormone downregulates IL-10 production by adaptive forkhead box protein 3–negative regulatory T cells in patients with atopic dermatitis

Corticotrophin-releasing hormone, a stress hormone, reduces functions of acquired T cells releasing IL-10 among AD patients to further worsen AD (Oh et al, 2012), and a vicious cycle, in which deteriorated AD induces a new stress, is repeated. Accordingly, stress needs to be managed first in order to reduce prevalence rates of AD, and complementary adjustment aimed to reduce stress caused by AD is required.…”
