Corticosteroid Therapy for Patients With Acute Exacerbations of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Abstract: Short courses of systemic corticosteroids in acute exacerbations of COPD have been shown to improve spirometric outcomes (good-quality evidence) and clinical outcomes (good-quality evidence).
