Cortactin Modulates Lung Endothelial Apoptosis Induced by Cigarette Smoke

Abstract: Cigarette smoke (CS) is the primary cause of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and an important pathophysiologic event in COPD is CS-induced apoptosis in lung endothelial cells (EC).
