Corrigendum: Corrigendum: Single Ir Atoms Anchored on Ordered Mesoporous WO₃ Are Highly Efficient for the Selective Catalytic Reduction of NO with CO under Oxygen‐rich Conditions

Abstract

Arecent paper by Jiang et al. in this journal reported on the catalytic activity of Ir and WO 3 -based catalysts for the NO-CO reaction. [1] Unfortunately,two errors were made in the analysis of the data on the characterization of the samples by IR of CO adsorption.The corrections are listed as follows: 1. The misinterpretation of gas-phase bands in the reported IR spectra The bands at 2107 and 2173 cm À1 in the reported IR spectra, which are supposed to be ascribed to the P-and R-branch of gas-phase CO, were wronglym isinterpreted as CO adsorbed on Ir 0 and CO linearly bonded to Ir d + sites, respectively.Int he original article, on page 1843, the description of "Theband at 2107cm À1 is due to CO species adsorbed on iridium (Ir 0 -CO), whilethat at 2173 cm À1 can be assigned to CO linearly bondedt oIr d + sites. [44,45] "s hould be corrected to "The bands at 2107 and 2173 cm À1 can be assigned to P-branch band and R-branch band of gas-phaseC O, respectively. [44] "T he deletion of reference 45 is because it does not emphasize the interpretation of gaseous CO. 2. The presence of metallicIrc lusters on asample that was supposed to only exhibit Ir singles atoms On the sample that consisted of ordered mesoporous WO 3 supported with single Ir atoms, there also exists as mall amount of metallicIrc lusters, which wasproved by the appearance of aw eak band at 2056 cm À1 in the reported IR spectra referring to the previous references. [2,3] In the originalarticle, the descriptions of "single Ir atoms" should be corrected to "highly dispersed Ir".
