Correlation between bronchopulmonary diseases and vitamin D level

Abstract: The review presents data from 56 publications about functions of vitamin D in the human body, the mechanisms of its action and the relationship between lung diseases and the level of vitamin D in the blood. Low serum vitamin D levels are associated with impaired lung function and an increase in inflammatory, infectious, or neoplastic diseases.
