Controlled Growth of Cyano-Bridged Coordination Polymers into Layered Double Hydroxides

Abstract: The controlled growth of cyano-bridged coordination polymers was developed by using layered double hydroxides (LDH) as bidimensional host structures. A series of nanocomposites [B0.66Al0.33(OH)2]0.33+/[MFe(CN)6]− (B = Mg, Ni; M = Ni, Co) were obtained by step-by-step coordination of hexacyanoferrate building blocks and bivalent metal ions into the interlayer domain of the matrix. The obtained nanocomposites were studied by infrared (IR), UV−vis spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and magnetic measurements, which … Show more

“…Peak shifts for the (003) diffraction to lower 2θ angles were observed in XRD patterns after the anion exchange (Fig. S2), indicating that the increase in basal distance involved the intercalation of ferricyanide, which is larger than carbonate [45]. with PSII did (Fig.…”

“…[21] In addition, the controlled growth of M-Fe PBA (M = Ni, Co) into diamagnetic Mg-Al LDH and magnetic Ni-Al LDH has exhibited spin-glass behavior. [22] Therefore, in order to understand the photomagnetic properties of low-dimensional Co-Fe PBA, it was twodimensionally intercalated into the MgAl LDH template by using the stepwise anion exchange method. The obtained compounds were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared (IR) spectroscopy, 57 Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and magnetic measurement.…”
